Members of the Pierce community, including students, faculty, staff, and administrators, are encouraged to read a common book throughout the semester and to participate in campus-wide, thematically-integrated activities.
“F.8. Develop and implement a One Book One Campus program using literature that raises awareness around issues related to Student Equity. Encourage faculty who teach gatekeeper courses and other transfer level courses to participate.”
The library will give a copy of the book to each faculty member who plans to incorporate the book into their fall curriculum.
