Search the Book Catalog for print books

The library owns more than 80,000 books in print.

If we do not have access to the book you need, we may be able to borrow it from another LACCD library on your behalf. (See the intra-library loan section at the bottom of  this page for more information.) Alternatively, we can help you find the book at another local college or at a nearby public library.

Using the Book Catalog to Locate Books

The book catalog searches through the title, author, and other basic information we have about the print books in our collection.

  1. You can search for books by their title or author, or can do a keyword search to find books about a given topic.
  2. Write down the call numbers of the books you are interested in and note their location (reference, reserve, or stacks). The call number and location will be listed on the search results screen AND at the bottom of the Details page under Holdings.
  3. Bring any print books you want to check out to the Circulation Desk. Books from the stacks can be checked out for two weeks.
