In order to properly cite a source, you first need to identify what type of source it is. If you're not sure what type of source you're citing, don't worry! This is a very common challenge, especially for online sources. Below, you'll find some tips and strategies for identifying source types.
If you use the Library's catalog OneSearch to find library resources, you can easily identify the source type. In your search results list, the source type will be listed in small gray text above the title.
