Special Collections Overview

The Special Collections Room, located behind the Reference Desk, includes documents and photographs relevant to the history of Pierce College and the surrounding area. Some of the items held in the Special Collections room include:

  • Pierce College Catalogs and Class Schedules from 1947 to the present
  • Issues of the student magazine, The Bull, from 1975
  • LAPC Brahman Yearbook from 1949-1955
  • The Early History of Pierce College by Robert McHargue
  • Dissertations by past and present Pierce College Faculty
  • Photographs, slides, and ephemera
